Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using the OrderKaro platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using OrderKaro on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

OrderKaro is a cloud-based restaurant management platform that provides the following services:

• QR code-based digital ordering for dine-in and take-away customers
• Kitchen display system for real-time order management
• GST-compliant billing with CGST and SGST breakdowns
• Bluetooth thermal printer integration for KOT and bill printing
• UPI payment QR code generation for cashless payments
• Real-time ETA tracking and order status updates
• Daily reports, analytics, and CSV export functionality

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice to active users.

Restaurant Owners: To use OrderKaro as a restaurant owner, you must create an account with accurate and complete information about yourself and your restaurant. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and not share it with unauthorised individuals
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Ensure that all users added to your restaurant account comply with these Terms

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.

Customers who place orders through OrderKaro at participating restaurants agree to the following:

• Orders placed through the platform are binding and subject to the restaurant's cancellation policy
• Payment for orders is made directly to the restaurant. OrderKaro does not process customer payments
• Customer contact information provided during ordering may be shared with the restaurant for order fulfilment purposes
• Food quality, preparation, allergens, and hygiene are the sole responsibility of the restaurant
• OrderKaro is not responsible for any disputes between customers and restaurants regarding food quality, pricing, or service

Subscription Plans: OrderKaro offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method.

• Subscription fees are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle and are non-refundable
• You may upgrade your plan at any time and the new rate will apply immediately
• You may downgrade your plan at any time and the change will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
• OrderKaro does not charge any commission on orders processed through the platform
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers

Free Plan: The Free plan is available indefinitely with feature limitations as described on our pricing page. No credit card is required for the Free plan.

The OrderKaro platform, including its software, design, logos, content, and documentation, is the intellectual property of OrderKaro and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all data you input into the platform, including your menu items, restaurant information, and order records. You grant OrderKaro a limited licence to use this data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the OrderKaro platform without our prior written consent. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• OrderKaro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
• We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• OrderKaro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for losses caused by internet connectivity issues, hardware failures, or third-party service outages

OrderKaro is not responsible for the accuracy of GST calculations. Restaurant owners are responsible for verifying the correctness of all tax-related information and invoices generated through the platform.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Post the updated Terms on the platform with a revised "Last updated" date
• Notify registered users via email or in-app notification at least 15 days before the changes take effect
• Provide a summary of the key changes for easy understanding

Your continued use of OrderKaro after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the platform and contact us to close your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of OrderKaro shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
