**Hegde** is a small cafe in Vidyaranyapura run by a Udupi Brahmin family. From the outside it looks unassuming — a modest frontage, a few tables, a handful of regulars at any hour. Inside, however, Hegde is quietly one of the best Brahmin breakfast cafes in all of North Bangalore.
The Menu
Short, disciplined, and perfect:

Vada: (medu vada) with chutney
