Kodigehalli Railway Station — A Hidden Bangalore Spot
Kodigehalli Railway Station (KDGH) is a small halt station on the Yelahanka–Yeshwanthpur line. It serves MEMU and passenger trains heading to Yelahanka, Doddaballapur, Hosur and beyond. It is one of the quietest stations in the Bangalore network — usually just 5-10 passengers per train.
For railfans, it is a perfect spot — no crowds, no noise, photogenic platform, easy access. For commuters, it is a useful local link to Yelahanka, Yeshwanthpur and the airport area.
Shastrys Cafe — 200 Metres Away
If you arrive at Kodigehalli Station and want a proper hot breakfast (or a long evening tiffin), **Shastrys Cafe** is a 3-minute walk away on Railway Parallel Road.
It is an authentic Brahmin cafe — fresh batter, fresh chutney, hot sambar — and one of the few sit-down restaurants in the immediate area.
